Women's Health Clinic

Women’s Health Clinic, one Friday per month, by appointment -- call Powell River Community Health 604-485-3310, located at Powell River Community Health (3^rd Floor of Hospital, entrance at back of hospital).

This NP-Led Women’s Health Clinic is for all women over the age of 19 (with or without a Primary Health Care Provider) to provide women the option to have a female Health Care Provider to complete various services, including: breast exams, pap smears, other pelvic exams*, STI testing, and to provide health counseling on various women’s issues including contraception, sexual health, menopause, etc.

No referrals required.

*A general physical exam will not be completed for those patients with a Primary Health Care Provider. Those patients will be asked to have their Primary Health Care Provider complete a general physical exam. (Those patients without a Primary Health Care Provider will have their need for a full exam determined on an individual basis).
