Sunshine Coast Treatment Services

SCTS has been providing individual physician-directed methadone treatment services in Powell River since 2002. The program works in partnership with a certified physician, Vancouver Coastal Health – Public Health, and the Ministry of Housing and Social Development. Patients who are not eligible for coverage must pay a monthly fee for service. On-site adjunct services include 1:1 counselling and Public Health nursing.
