Psychogeriatric/Older Adult Mental Health (previously called C.O.P.E.); Vancouver Coastal Health, PRGH

This program offers referral, assessment and psychiatric consultation for people who have an age-related mental condition such as dementia, memory impairment and depression. Program also provides support and consultation to in-patients at PRGH and the long-term care facilities of Willingdon Creek Village and Evergreen Extended Care Unit.

Powell River Mental Health and Addiction Services – Out-Patient Services Adults (19 years and older) can refer themselves, or be referred by a physician.
SMART Recovery SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) is open to any member of the public who is struggling with addictive behaviours. Available on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 at the CRC (4752 Joyce Ave), or online at www.smartrecovery.org
SMART Recovery Family & Friends Our purpose is to provide resources and support for those who are affected by the addictions of a loved one. Our method is based on the tools of SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach & Family Training). Meets every Tuesday (except STAT holidays) from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in room 3018 on the 3rd floor of the hospital. Contact ron.cameron@vch.ca for more info.
