Psychogeriatric/Older Adult Mental Health (previously called C.O.P.E.); Vancouver Coastal Health, PRGH
This program offers referral, assessment and psychiatric consultation for people who have an age-related mental condition such as dementia, memory impairment and depression. Program also provides support and consultation to in-patients at PRGH and the long-term care facilities of Willingdon Creek Village and Evergreen Extended Care Unit.

MENTAL HEALTH FOR ADULTS AGES 19 AND ABOVE. CLIENT CAN SELF REFER FOR AN INTAKE ASSESSMENT OR BE REFERRED BY A PHYSICIAN. PHYSICIAN REFERRAL IS REQUIRED IF CONSULTATION WITH A PSYCHIATRIST IS REQUIRED. ADDICTION PROGRAMS ARE FOR YOUTH UNDER AGE 19 AS WELL AS ADULTS. NOTE: MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR YOUTH UNDER AGE 19 ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT - CHILD AND YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM. |

SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) is open to any member of the public who is struggling with addictive behaviours. Available on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 at the CRC (4752 Joyce Ave), or online at www.smartrecovery.org |
Our purpose is to provide resources and support for those who are affected by the addictions of a loved one. Our method is based on the tools of SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement Approach & Family Training).
