This program is administered by Variety – The Children’s Charity of British Columbia –
providing subsidized accommodation for families whose child, including premature babies and newborns with other health concerns, are receiving care at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. No cost to families.more info

Inclusion Powell River's Child and Family Services offer multiple programs that aim to support children and families within our community. Our services are available free of charge to families of children from birth to 19 years that may be demonstrating a developmental delay, or are at risk of a delay.

Child Find BC
Child Find British Columbia (Child Find BC) is a not for profit charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children. Our goal is to reduce child victimization by providing programs and services to the public of BC . CFBC is a registered charity which was incorporated in 1984. The organization works cooperatively with other provincial Child Find offices and like agencies involved in the area of child protection and is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. Our fundraising is a year round effort and tax receipts are issued for donations over $10.00 more info

Community Adult Literacy & Learning (CALL)
Community Adult Literacy & Learning is a one-on-one tutoring program for adults in Powell River. We match learners and volunteer tutors so that they can upgrade their skills in basic reading, writing, spelling, math or basic computer. All our services are free and confidential.more info
